Our Services

Emergency Care

Please call or send us an appointment request. Please be specific about the nature of your emergency.

Here at Smile Fixation we are comfortable seeing children as young as 12 months old or younger.   Dr. Lopez and her team are very passionate about preventing childhood caries.  We will make recommendations on how to introduce your little one to brushing and flossing as soon as that first tooth erupts.

Our teeth whitening services include in-office and take home custom trays.  Please ask about our whitening  services at your next visit.

Invisalign® Therapy

We offer Invisalign®, a clear removable aligner system that gently moves teeth. Schedule a complimentary consultation today!

Oral Surgery

Simple and surgical extractions under local anesthesia. Complicated extractions such as impacted wisdom teeth are referred to an oral surgeon.

Root Canals

Are you having throbbing, persistent or spontaneous pain on a tooth? In other words, you have a toothache? Here at Smile Fixation, Dr. Lopez will assess the nature of the toothache by taking a film and doing a detailed examination.  In most cases the toothache stems from a badly damaged tooth due to trauma or caries that has infected the nerve.  In these cases a root canal will be recommended to save the tooth.  The treatment involves cleaning, filling and sealing the canal.   A crown is recommended after the completion of a root canal.  More complicated root canals are referred to an endodontist.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are an option to replace missing teeth.  A dental implant consists of two parts: the implant (placed by a specialist) and a crown (placed by your dentist).  We will give you a referral to an implant specialist for a consultation.  The specialist is trained to place implants.  Once the implant has integrated into your jawbone (usually 3-6 months) you’ll return to our office to be fitted for a permanent crown that will sit on top of the implant.

Your First Visit

Your first visit to our office consists of a thorough medical history, a full series of dental films (X-rays) a comprehensive dental exam, a periodontal exam and a oral cancer screening. The doctor will then design a customized dental treatment which will be discussed with you.

Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your first visit:

  • Any x-rays taken by a previous dentist, if applicable.
  • A list of medications you are presently taking.
  • If you have dental insurance, bring the necessary completed forms. This will save time and allow us to help you process any claims.

Please call us ahead of your appointment if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to treatment (i.e., diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are currently taking any medication (i.e., heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.).

All patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

We thank you for selecting Smile Fixation. We’re looking forward to seeing you, and we will do everything we can to make your visit quick and comfortable.
